Sezer Boru Endüstri ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“Sezer Boru”) takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This notice explains how we process personal data that you share with us through sezerboru.com and by e-mail, in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to you, the rights described below apply accordingly.

• Request data: product, size and quantity details, your message and any drawings you attach.
• Security data: date and time of submission and IP address.

• Reviewing your request and preparing and sending a quote,
• Answering your questions about our products and services,
• Handling orders and contracts,
• Preventing misuse of the form (spam) and ensuring information security,
• Meeting our legal obligations.

4. Legal basis

We process your data because it is necessary for entering into or performing a contract, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests, provided your fundamental rights and freedoms are not overridden (KVKK Art. 5/2 (c), (ç), (f); where applicable GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), (c), (f)).

5. Recipients and transfers

Your data may be shared with the providers of our website hosting and e-mail services, only to the extent necessary to provide these services and in accordance with KVKK Articles 8 and 9. Where required by law, data may be disclosed to competent public authorities. Your data is not shared with other third parties and is not used for marketing.

6. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as the purpose requires and for the periods prescribed by law; it is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your rights

You have the right to know whether your data is processed, to request information about it, to learn the purpose of processing and the recipients, to request correction, deletion or destruction, to object to decisions based solely on automated processing, and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing (KVKK Art. 11). 8. Cookies

Our website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. No advertising, targeting or tracking cookies are used. Fonts and images are served from our own server; no data is sent to third-party websites during your visit. WordPress sets the cookies wordpress_test_cookie (session) and, for site administrators only, login cookies. When you click links such as “Open in Google Maps”, the cookie policy of that service applies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
